Sentinel Takes Centre Stage at the Emergency Services Show 2025
The Sentinel team made a strong and memorable impact at this year’s Emergency Services Show at the NEC Birmingham, engaging with first responders and frontline workers from across the UK.
Our stand featured Sentinel’s trauma-informed digital support tools, including research posters, co-creation findings, and an interactive display of our personalised weekly modules. Visitors explored how Sentinel supports those who experience persistent traumatic stress and learned more about the evidence base underpinning our approach.
Chief Scientific Officer Dr Nicola Cogan delivered a well-attended presentation in the Community Hub titled “Survive, Thrive, and Grow: Turning Workplace Trauma into Strength.” Her talk highlighted the realities of trauma exposure in frontline roles and the importance of compassionate, accessible, and stigma-reducing support.

Throughout the event, CEO Mykay Kamara, Dr Nicola Vogan and Consultant Adam Hopper represented Sentinel at the stand, engaging in thoughtful discussions with service leaders, practitioners, and sector partners. These conversations consistently reinforced the urgent need for trauma prevention and mental-health support tailored to first responders and frontline workers.
The stand and presentation generated excellent engagement, meaningful new contacts, and a clear recognition of the growing need for Sentinel’s trauma-informed digital support.
